Posed Newborn Photography
"They grow up so fast." This is especially true during your baby's first weeks of life. Those tiny fingers and toes will grow and change quickly. A Posed Newborn session will allow us to commemorate those precious early days with unique and timeless photographs of your baby.
My goal is to provide you with a comfortable, luxury experience. The safety of your baby is one of my top priorities. I have trained extensively in posing newborns safely as well as advanced wrapping techniques. I continue my education so I can provide the best experience, product and service to my clients.
Posed Newborn sessions are scheduled between 5 - 21 days after birth. I recommend that you contact me early in your second trimester to schedule your style consultation and photography session. Posed Newborn sessions will take place at my in-home studio.
What to expect...
During your style consultation, we will discuss our overall goals and expectations for the session.
We will cover:
- A general timeline for the session
- Accessories/props
- Your color preferences
- Final image editing preferences and packages available for purchase
- Review and discussion of your inspiration photos (Pinterest, Google, my portfolio, etc.)
I have an impressive stash of newborn props, hats, bonnets, headbands, and more that I will use to create custom sets for your baby's session.
Posed Newborn sessions are typically scheduled Monday through Friday with a morning arrival and are typically 4 to 6 hours in length.
Pricing
The session fee for a Posed Newborn session is $390. The session fee does not include digital photographs or print products. A full price list, including Collections and A la Carte options, is presented to you during your personalized consultation.
The session fee is due at booking and reserves a spot for you on my calendar.
After the session, I'll host a proofing appointment (in-person or via video). During this time, you'll select your favorite proof images for final editing and your Collection. You may choose from the Collections I've created or create your own from the a la Carte options available.
Once the final invoice is paid, final editing begins. Your products are ordered through my professional print lab then hand-delivered or shipped directly to you.
